The aim of our Doula Training course is to prepare relatives and those wishing to offer their services as carers to support people when they are dying.
Participants will be informed using a blended approach drawn from nursing the sick and spiritual care; additional attunement to Reiki level I for those wishing to participate will be made available.
There is a “Stand Alone” course for Grief, Loss & Bereavement which is the first two days of the “Foundation Course“. The Foundation course can be taken on its own with a certificate of attendance but does not constitute the Doula Training. This requires participating in the Foundation course plus three additional modules. This is assessed via a Portfolio of learning. Successful completion makes up the full End of Life Care Doula Training course which is ITOL accredited. You can show interest by booking onto the course you require. We will speak with you after you express interest in our courses and then confirm your place on the course. Payment is only taken on confirmation.
This course is suitable for: Those caring for the family members. Funeral directors and celebrants. Carers in care homes. Professionals requiring a refresher relating to loss and bereavement and care of the dying, and of course participants who wish to work as End of Life Doulas (in paid/unpaid roles).
Soul Companions: End of Life Care “Doula Training” course. This is as ITOL accredited course.
