I worked as a Registered General Nurse for 30+ years and trained as an End of life Doula with Soul Companions in 2019. During my working life I specialised in complex neurological conditions. In the last 20 years before my retirement I owned and ran specialist care centres supporting younger adults with life limiting neurological conditions.
I am experienced in supporting individuals and their families to plan and prepare for the end of their life and help them navigate the path of anticipatory grief.
I am a member of the executive council for the Huntington’s disease association and provide information, lectures and webinars for that community on the management of complex neurological conditions and end of life care.
I lecture for Soul Companions on the trajectory of Health and Anticipatory Grief.
I volunteer at St Michaels hospice as a listening support volunteer and End of life Doula.
